Andy McDonnell is an experienced cinematographer working within the television industry for the past 30 years. This passion and vision to create engaging programmes is unfailing, constantly striving for originality, inventiveness and artistry whilst always respecting the scriptwriter and director’s vision.

Having enjoyed a varied career encompassing all genres, he has travelled worldwide for documentary programmes, comedy, and drama. His CV is extensive including many top rated and award-winning British dramas.

Andy’s passion is for storytelling using captivating and engaging images, whilst working alongside creative teams to make their vision an inspired reality.

When not filming, Andy spends his time with his family in North Yorkshire.
